I think I missed the point

Card of the Day – Seven of Wands – Whispering Tarot

The Seven of Wands for me is all about work but work that is meaningful, challenging and enjoyable. Well yesterday was not really like that well not at work anyway, but maybe it was refering to getting outdoors and stretching my legs. I get well depressed when I am unable to excersise and I am feeling much better for it. Sore, but better.

From the Whispering Tarot handbook Liz writes: “Struggle in the dace of multiple difficulties. Need to choose battles carefully, and not be distracted by petty problems when bigger issues need to be faced”

Dam that friggin word, I am banishing “Struggle” from my vocabulary for a while. I refuse to have that as my theme word for the year. There are definately themes in what Liz refers to that I can have a look at.

In other Tarot related news my copy of The Transparent Tarot arrived last night along with the Archeon Tarot. I was playing with the Transparent Tarot and I got the Queen of Swords three times lol. Apparently it is all about me lol. Will be writting a review on the Transparent Tarot soon.

Music that I am listening to right now:
  • Listening to the Irish band – The Script -www.thescriptmusic.com – The lead singer Danny sure can sing.
  • Also in love with A Fine Frenzy’s One Cell in the Sea – http://www.afinefrenzy.com/ – I was suprised to read that Alison is only in her early 20’s she writes and sings well beyond that.

Until Next time...

  1. Hahahaha oh dear. How shockingly obvious is the tarot sometimes?

Usually we’re just hoping that those cheeky little cards will tell us what we want to hear, or something new at least. It’s so incredibly annoying when they tell us crap we already know 😛

Liz is right on the money there. Oh, and the Queen of Swords… hilarious lol.

I’ve been getting the magician (merlin in my deck) and the emperor (arthur) quite a lot. It’s annoying the heck out of me because I do understand what it means but it doesn’t seem all that related to the question. What would your interpretation of those cards be?

  2. The magician has mastered the elements and his tools, he is in control of his envorinment and can do what seems to be magic. The emperor is about leadership, planning, strength and male energy. If I got those two together I would interperate that as “Use your skills and knowledge and take up the mantle as the Emperor, take control, plan and be a leader”. Hope that helps!
