Title: The Sakki-Sakki Tarot
Creator: Monicka Clio Sakki
Publisher: MPress
Format: 79 Cards
Language: English
Size of Cards: 6.2×11.5cm/2.45×4.5″ – super easy to shuffle, a little skinny but it doesn’t take anything away from the image quality.
What you get: You can buy the deck on it’s own but Monicka has a wonderful deal where you can get the Deck and Book in a bundle. This is what I purchased and the book is worth it. I am not sure how long the sale is going to last so snap yours up while you can. The book is a collaboration with Monicka and Carol Anne Buckley.
Impressions: I was completely charmed by this deck the second I saw it on a Instagram post and hunted it down like the Tarot obsessed Witch that I am. I just adore this deck, it is colorful, free, fun and totally in a wonderful world of it’s own. This Tarot deck is all about inspiring the Artist within and it really grabbed my attention. I can’t help but feel shinier when I work with this deck. I also find that decks like this may be a gentler introduction to the Tarot than some of the more traditional decks because the imagery is more abstract. The deck is based on the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot structure and has an additional card called The Artist.
The card stock is very nice quite thick and the cards have a matte finish.
Monicka’s website is full of inspiring goodies so make sure you check it out and take a look at her blog.
