This is a series of videos that were requested. I was asked about how you get a Tarot Business started and here are my thoughts. Nothing I say here is gospel. Take what you resonate with and leave the rest.

This advice can be used for Oracle Card Readers, Angel Card Readers, Healers and Energy workers as well. I use the Tarot as my main Spiritual Tool and run a Tarot Business so this is the perspective on which I speak.

In the last video I talked about your online space, social media and content delivery.

In this the final video for getting started with your Tarot Business I am going to cover a bunch of subjects that I felt didn’t really fit into a order but that I wanted to talk about.

• Community
• Celebration

Schedules

Creating a schedule is going to save your sanity.

I am a fly by the seat of my Wonder Woman pantaloons kinda gal in a lot of areas in my life but my work is NOT one of them.

I have a son to care for, a man I adore, friends, I have projects I am working on and people who rely on me to get my shit done.   

Schedules are where the work really begins. Decide and commit to how often you are going to blog or post a video on YouTube or create something for your people and then STICK TO IT.

Life happens. I am not saying it doesn’t but the more you can prepare and SET THE SPACE and time aside for you to work on your biz the more you will see results.

Integrity

This is a juicy subject but for me Integrity means showing up for your work 100%, deliver on what you promise to your Clients, keep in contact if something does go south and you can’t get something done on time.

For me being a professional in any field means that there is integrity all around you and with what you do.

Integrity in your business is how you build long term relationships with people. It is how you get a library of testimonials and how people refer you to their friends. (the highest form of praise and trust).

Trust your feelings around this. If it feels good and you feel good doing it you are on the right track.

Patience

URGH. Every time I hear that word the Gemini in me groans. I am well known for being very impatient but things are going to take the time that they are going to take and you can only do so much.

If you can make peace with that and learn to take it one step at a time you are going to allow so much space for yourself. It is okay for your business to take time to build. It takes everyone time to become their version of successful.

You can’t do everything at once it’s just not possible and if you burn yourself out you won’t be able to work at all.

If all you can manage is one blog post or art piece or video a month then that’s fine at least be doing it consistently and do it really really well.

I used to tell myself when I was working in a job I wasn’t happy with that even if when I get home all I do is ONE thing in my business, I was keeping the momentum going and building on where I want to be. It served me very well.

Community

I love the Tarot community that I have found over the years. I have wonderful mentors, friends and colleagues and have found so much support to keep going and to be the best me I can. Yes any community is going to have drama (I do my best to stay out of it) and people that you aren’t always going to agree on but that is unavoidable with people both online and offline.

You can interact with your communities as much as you want and wherever you want. You don’t have to spend all day on Social media, groups and forums.

Connecting with people grows your network, you find support and inspiration and you reach potential Clients.

A nice way to jump in is to join a couple of groups or take part in a social media challenge in a community you are interested in.

Celebration

You absolutely should celebrate your first paying Client. Your first ten. Your first 20 email subscribers etc. It is what keeps us going at times. Something that my sister once said to me when I was looking to transition my business to be online was ‘If you can get one paying Client, you can get 100’

How fucking true is that?!

If you are making money online, you can always make more.

Yes fine tuning is going to be needed.

Yes you will add things, take away things and some days want to ditch the whole computer out the window.

But if you are Authentic and really are being of service and true to yourself you can reach a lot of people who are looking for a YOU right now.
