Review – Mystic Dreamer Tarot

Mystic Dreamer Tarot Deck by – Heidi Darras, Book by – Barbara Moore I was introduced to Heidi’s artwork and tarot deck project from DevianArt and her work gained a lot of popularity. There are not a lot of decks that are created entirely from stock photos and CGI that even seem real or that don’t have very obvious lines as I have found this technique can make a lot of the characters faces look a very angular and non human. With the progression of Heidi’s work you can clearly see that her skill with her chosen medium increased and

Bohemian Gothic Tarot – Review

Bohemian Gothic Tarot by Karen Mahony & Alex Ukolov – www.bohemiangothic.comWhere can I buy? – www.baba-store.com or www.amazon.com Another complete gem from this fantastic and creative duo. Along with the 78 card deck housed nicely in their traditional packaging, there is the very rich companion book. With any deck that has a companion book available, I would suggest investing in it rather than just having the “little white booklet” that comes with most decks. This companion book is great all the way through the book you are given information about the Gothic era, vampires, gothic literature, golems and other very

West Coast Witch – On Air

The West Coast Eagles, one of the local AFL teams (Australian Football) are not doing too well this season. In fact they have had 8 games and only 1 win, so the team at 92.9fm decided that they needed a little help and called me in to cast a Victory Spell for their upcoming match on the 24th of May 2008. http://www.929.com.au/shows/emandwippa/features/witch – This is some of the segment. It was a great morning and a lot of fun and the crew and the Eagles player Tyson Stenglein all got into the spirit of the spell and asked great questions.

Reading with the Llewellyn Tarot

Reading for Natalie Question: Will there be someone good (for me) and exciting/attractive that comes into my life soon? What should I be watching for, if anything? Deck used –Llewellyn Tarot – http://www.llewellyn.com/ The Past – Five of Cups – This card is about emotional loss and being completely in that moment and energy. This is about withdrawing into that space and not being able to see the illumination and light around you and in the situation, it was raw and it hit very hard. There is however hope, depicted by the two cups at the figures back, that there

TAROT TALK BEGINS

Last night, Nicole, a friend of mine and I started with Tarot Talk, something I have wanted to get going since the break up of a local Tarot Group last year. It was so good to get back into it and bounce ideas off each other and work with the amazing energies of the tarot. I always work with the tarot but collaborating with talented and passionate people ads so much. I am also going to be formalising it and taking a night with the Sun Moon and Star Spiritual Centre in late March early April to invite anyone who

RIDER WAITE TAROT, RESOURCES & INDEPENDANT DECKS

RIDER WAITE TAROT & ME My relationship with the Rider-Waite Tarot http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/rider-waite/ has always been one of respect but it has never resonated with me, I dislike the basic lines and colours of the deck but that is just a reflection of my artistic taste and nothing else. The sheer fact that this deck has inspired hundreds of other decks and has been the “sun in the tarot universe” that most people learn with (or a variation of) does not escape me. However over the years of learning about the tarot and reading for others, I have become to appreciate
