Hi Tarot Lovelies,
Today I’ll be sharing with you all of my favourite beginner-friendly books for those of you who are new to the craft or are “baby witches”. This is not an exhaustive list, these are just the books that I have in my library that I love. They are in no particular order but they are all fantastic. A few of these books can be hard to find so I’d try searching through a used bookstore, you may get lucky.
Alright, my lovelies, here are my top 11 beginner-friendly witchcraft books recommendations.
1. Witchcraft: A Beginner’s Guide by Theresa Moorey
2. The Inner Temple of Witchcraft: Magick, Meditation and Psychic Development by Christopher Penczak
3. The Witch’s Shield: Protection Magick and Psychic Self-Defense by Christopher Penczak
4. Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham
6. Traditional Wicca: A Seeker’s Guide by Thorn Mooney
7. Philosophy of Wicca by Amber Laine Fisher
8. Wicca: A Year and a Day: 366 Days of Spiritual Practice in the Craft of the Wise by Timothy Roderick
9. The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz
As with everything I share, take what resonates with you and leave the rest. For a full explanation of why I love each book, check out the Youtube video I linked! What books would you recommend for a beginner or #babywitch? Let me know in the comment section below.

Thank you Ethony.
I watched your You Tube channel and was glad to see you posted this article..it’s great to have resources for beginning witches as well as all witches at every level..
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it. You’re very welcome. 🙂
I have Scott Cunningham’s book but feel like I am lost and need more beginning info. This episode was a huge help! Went and found a used book dealer that has a copy of Witchcraft: A beginner’s Guide! And No One can just order one book…. Right?!… so I have Astrology for Real Life coming too…. Followed by Christopher Penczak’s books in my wishlist. I’m doing my happy dance!! Many thanks!!
I love that!! That’s a great book list. Enjoy 🙂
