Hi Tarot Bumblebees,

Today, I’ll be sharing with you a spell that helps you set your intentions and bless your coming year. I cast this spell on New Year’s Eve. If you want to work with timing, start the spell at 11 pm so that you cast it as close to the new year as possible.

Remember with all spells, use what you have in your home. You can always use a correspondence book like Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Correspondences or use the magic of Google.

This is a really fun spell to do with some of your friends as well and you can make it a Witchy NYE tradition!

You will need:

  1. 2 x Blank card and envelope
  2. White candle
  3. Wax seal and sealing wax
  4. Charm or crystal that represents prosperity or some coins or money
  5. Charm, crystal, or token that represents love
  6. Charm, crystal, or token that represents protection
  7. Charm, crystal, or token that represents good luck
  8. Charm, crystal, or token that represents good health

The Spell:

    1. Call in your protection and light your white candle.
    2. Take one of the blank cards and pen and write down all of the things you want to leave in the current year. What you don’t want to bring into the next year and what is best left in the past.
    3. Place the card in the envelope, write down the current year on the envelope and melt some wax. While the wax is melting, visualize that all of the things in the envelope are being removed
    4. from your energy fields and life.
    5. As you seal the envelope with the wax seal say

“‘What no longer serves, I bless and release, It moves away so my freedoms increase, What no longer serves, I bless and release, It moves away so my freedoms increase, What no longer serves, I bless and release, It moves away so my freedoms increase. May this spell not reverse, nor place upon me any curse, may all correspondences be aligned and for the highest good for all. So mote it be!”

    1. Take the next envelope and write your ultimate goal for the coming year in one area.
    2. Take your charm that represents prosperity and write a sentence about your prosperity goal for the next year.
    3. Take your charm that represents love and write a sentence about your love goal for the next year.
    4. Take your charm that represents protection and write a sentence about your protection goal for the next year.
    5. Take your charm that represents good luck and write a sentence about your good luck goal for the next year.
    6. Take your charm that represents good health and write a sentence about your health goal for the next year.
    7. Place the charms inside the card and place it in the envelope and write the next year on it.
    8. Melt some wax and while you wait, visualize yourself having achieved those goals. How will it feel? How does success in the next year look for you?
    9. As you seal the envelope with the wax say

“I bless, my life, I manifest, I weave into being the very best, I bless, my life, I manifest, I weave into being the very best, I bless, my life, I manifest, I weave into being the very best. May this spell not reverse, nor place upon me any curse, may all correspondences be aligned and for the highest good for all. So mote it be!”

    10. Close your circle and snuff out your candle.

After the spell, bury your releasing envelope at a crossroad if you can safely. If you can not, shred it or recycle it. Place your 2021 envelope with the charms on your altar to anchor the spell to you. Have it somewhere it will not be disturbed throughout the year. You can even place a clear crystal obelisk on top of it to magnify the power of the spell.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Until Next week...
