Whispers of Wisdom

The most amazing things happen however when you slow down and take notice.

>
Sometimes we miss the messages that Spirit/God/Goddess/Universe is trying to get us to pay attention to.

I have two speeds, Fast and Stop. More often than not I have way too much on my plate or I am exhausted and recovering, all the while thinking of what I can do next. Not saying it is a good trait to have, it is however the way I am.
Life happens, work happens, family has its commitments, friend time is important. Not to mention if you are trying to juggle it all and then be in a relationship, maybe studying, travelling and the list goes on and on. If you looked at what the average person does in a day, week, month, year, externally you would think that the person is nuts to be trying to fill their time up so much.
Is it any wonder we get stressed, lost, exhausted, sick, make bad decisions and buy into convenient quick fixes? (of which our society has an over abundance of)
I have been literally put on my butt by the Universe a few times because the subtle whispers have not been heard and the louder callings have been ignored. Most of the time this happens when I am not taking enough time to get out in Nature, swim in the ocean, walk in the bush, explore the local caves or even just walk in a national park, or when I am pushing my limits way too much.
The most amazing things happen however when I slow down and start to soak in what is happening with me, within me, around me. When I am out in nature I am the type of person who is notice a lady bug on a leaf while walking, or will stop to watch the light in the trees. Those moments snap me back, reconnect me and remind me that there is a bigger picture.
Messages from spirit come in many forms. I have often been thinking about something and then turned on the radio and a songs lyrics have a certain connection and meaning to them. Been worrying about an issue and had an animal come into view, to later look up their message and be pleasantly surprised.
Magic happens every day, if you allow it.

Until Next time...

  1. This speaks to me, straight from my heart. You put my “fast” and “stop” into words. I too sometimes find myself in nature getting jolted out of my delirium, finally taking a breathe and “hearing” what I need to hear.

    Thank you. Blessed Be….
