As the veil between worlds thins and the air turns crisp with autumn’s breath, Samhain arrives — a sacred time of year steeped in magic, memory, and mystery. Traditionally celebrated from October 31st to November 1st, Samhain marks the Celtic New Year and the final harvest. It’s a festival of honoring ancestors, connecting with spirit, and embracing transformation. The darker half of the year begins, inviting us inward for reflection, rest, and renewal.
Why Work with Witch-Themed Decks During Samhain
Samhain is the perfect time to work with decks that capture the essence of witchcraft — its symbols, stories, and sacred practices. Witch-themed Tarot and Oracle decks embody the energy of spellcraft, intuition, and the natural cycles of death and rebirth. They help you tap into your inner witch, strengthen your connection to the unseen realms, and make divination rituals feel extra potent. Whether you’re performing a year-end reading, connecting with ancestors, or simply feeling the witchy vibes of the season, these decks invite you to celebrate magic in its purest form.
In the accompanying video for this blog post, I share eight new mass-market Tarot and Oracle decks perfect for the Samhain and Halloween season. You’ll find links to each deck below — but whenever possible, please support your local bookstores and metaphysical shops. They’re the lifeblood of our spiritual communities and deserve our love and support now more than ever.
️New Mass Market Witch-Themed Tarot Decks
1. Mystic Psyche Tarot
This deck is a visual feast — another stunning Rockpool release. The guidebook, written by the artist themselves, adds a personal and authentic touch I adore. The Major Arcana and Court Cards truly shine, and while some imagery leans more Marseille-style, the vibrant colors and minimalist elegance make it easy to read with and deeply evocative.
2. Seasons of the Witch: Winter Tarot
This deck feels like a cozy winter ritual wrapped in a box. I already know that on December 1st, this one will be my go-to for the colder months. From the thoughtful design to the lush cardstock and packaging, it’s clear Rockpool put heart and soul into this release. It’s intuitive, magical, and absolutely seasonal perfection.
3. Magical Hours Tarot
Confession: I didn’t expect to fall in love with this deck — but I did. The imagery is gorgeous, and the readings flow effortlessly. The only drawback is the cardstock, which could be better, but that’s easily forgiven for such beautiful and readable artwork.
4. Mystical Women’s Tarot
This one’s a gothic dream — rich, moody, and spellbinding. The Major Arcana are breathtaking, though the deck leans toward a pip-style structure. Don’t expect a traditional Rider–Waite clone; instead, expect a mystical journey with its own distinct energy and depth.
5. Sacred Witch Tarot
A blend of modern witch aesthetics and old-world alchemical symbolism, this deck bridges ancient wisdom and contemporary magic. Based on the Rider–Waite–Smith system, it’s accessible for most readers and especially resonates with ceremonial magicians or those drawn to the classical occult aesthetic. The cardstock isn’t amazing, but the guidebook is packed with insight and lore.
6. The Hedgewitch Tarot
Non-traditional yet enchanting, this deck feels like a walk through a misty hedge-bordered path into a witch’s secret garden. The art is so captivating that you may find yourself lingering over each card long after your reading is complete.
New Mass Market Witch-Themed Oracle Decks
1. The Wild Witch Oracle
I’ve been reading with this deck for clients recently, and it’s quickly become a favorite. The messages are potent and accurate, and the artwork is truly beautiful. My only wish is that the Zodiac representation was more complete — but even so, this deck delivers incredibly consistent and intuitive readings every time.
2. Memento Mori Cards
This sweet yet deeply meaningful little deck has been my companion for many of my mediumship readings this year. Its symbolism, energy, and charm make it a must-have for anyone who enjoys ancestor work or connecting with the spirit realm. Simple, elegant, and hauntingly lovely.

A Note on Piracy and Supporting Creators
Please, please don’t purchase your decks from Wish, Temu, Shein, or AliExpress. These platforms sell pirated copies — stolen artwork and writing that exploit creators. If your deck box has a QR code instead of a proper guidebook, ISBN, or publishing information, it’s likely pirated.
Artists and authors (myself included) pour years of creative work into making these decks — from concept and design to artwork and writing. Supporting legitimate publishers ensures we can continue creating the magical tools you love.
Whenever possible, shop small and support your local metaphysical and independent bookstores. They’re truly magical places.
Whether you’re celebrating Samhain with candlelight rituals, Tarot spreads under the moon, or just sipping cider with your cards, these witch-themed decks are here to guide and inspire you through the season of shadow and transformation.
