Positive Witches in Pop Culture

Let’s face it Witches have gotten a lot of bad press when it comes to the portrayal of their appearance, abilities and whom they have dedicated their life to serving. As a Witch myself I am so glad that there are more and more positive Witches in books, television and movies. So here is my own appreciation post to those who have created and become  these fantastic characters in books, TV Series and Movies.  The Witches below are listed in order of them appearing in my life. My First FaerieWorlds

Where to begin with the weekend that I experienced in Eugene, Oregon? So many things run through my mind from the amazing performances that had me dancing and singing, despite the heat. The incredible costumes that must have taken so much time for people to create. Saturday was when the spiritual work really began, there was complete rosters of lectures and I went

Samhain Ball 2010

Last night the girls and I went to the Combined Covens Social Clubs’ Pagan Community Ball for Samhain (Halloween). It was a masquerade ball and we had an awesome time. About half a can of hair spray and loads of bobby pins went into my hair, I never thought I was going to get the same stuff out, it did with a lot of conditioner. Some of the costumes were amazing and people had gone to such a great effort to get involved. The ritual conducted by The Temple was great, very Wiccan, very traditional and very fitting. It felt

Are Wiccans/Pagans all Insane?

As a Pagan myself and somewhat Wiccan, (I prefer Witch) I often look around at the community and wonder if we are all insane? Now I have met some very interesting people in the last 12 years as an out of the closet Witch this includes people who wear dead cats as hats, and no I am not joking. I have some fantastic, talented friends in the community as well and I am ashamed to say on behalf of our shallow society that some of those people would be looked over because of how they looked, what they wore or
