Like most witches, I love books. My bookcases are bursting at the seams with more books than I will probably ever get to read this lifetime. When I discovered Wicca, Witchcraft and Tarot I read EVERYTHING I could about the subject. I devoured books as fast as I could. Some of them really stuck with me, they changed me. They opened my world and they lead me home because finding the craft felt like coming home. The 11 books I’m about to share shaped me as a witch. They vary in subject matter - witchcraft, magic, tarot, paganism, Wicca, and there’s...

Welcome to another one of my spiritual journey videos. I was asked by a lovely YouTube member to talk about my experiences and views on Coven work vs Solitary work as an Eclectic Witch.Everything I say here is from my experience and my opinion. You don’t have to share my views. I am simply sharing.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSsCNp_YB6QI have worked in Covens and as a solitary Witch and they both have their benefits and areas that can be challenging. As far as the benefits and limitations of each this isn’t an exhaustive list, I am sure I have missed some things out.Benefits...

So I am facing the fear of writing one of these that sucks. I apologise in advanced if it isn't funny or interesting. I’m going to try. I have read some on the internet and man is there some DRY content out there. 1. I am left handed.2. I secretly like Taylor Swift – I know she is a complete man-eater and is NOT as innocent as her PR people would like you to think but her music is infectious and the girl WORKS hard. Plus she gave those Victoria Secret models a real run for their money at the VS...

So yeah I know I am well behind the 8 ball with this post being that there aren't many episodes left to the season but I had to post this witchy, bitchy awesomeness on here!A few of my friends have loved all of the American Horror Story seasons but I can't handle much scary stuff so I never watched it. That all changed when the subject matter became something that I knew a lot about and wasn't going to get even remotely scared about. It also helped to have some glowing references from friends about the show.Jessica Lange is a...

Let’s face it Witches have gotten a lot of bad press when it comes to the portrayal of their appearance, abilities and whom they have dedicated their life to serving. As a Witch myself I am so glad that there are more and more positive Witches in books, television and movies. So here is my own appreciation post to those who have created and become  these fantastic characters in books, TV Series and Movies.  The Witches below are listed in order of them appearing in my life. Glinda – The Good Witch of the North...

So there is a new TV series that is going to be premiering on Lifetime in the states starting in October called the Witches of East End. A full season of the series has been ordered by Lifetime. It is based on a book series by Melissa de la Cruz of the same name and stars some pretty interesting people. I only stumbled across this series because I follow Jenna Dewan-Tatum on Twitter and she is beginning to promote it.Taken from Wikipedia the overview of the series:The series stars Julia Ormond as lead character Joanna Beauchamp, a witch and mother of Freya Beauchamp...

Where to begin with the weekend that I experienced in Eugene, Oregon? So many things run through my mind from the amazing performances that had me dancing and singing, despite the heat. The incredible costumes that must have taken so much time for people to create. The wonderful performers, Wotan the faerie smasher and his rivalry with Nimble, the real mermaids who had the best spot in their pool in the shade, the giant luminous jelly fish and lanterns that continues to float around during performances all night. The fire twirling, poi spinning, hula-hooping talents and the amazing Mythmakers. The transporting...

While there are many catch up blog posts that I have waiting in the wings this has been nagging on my mind since the weekend so it wins for first cab off the rank in a while.I am also sure that this is going to stir up some controversy and annoy some more traditional minded people but I feel it needs to be said. This weekend past was the Combined Covens Social Club annual camp which is always a fantastic weekend. This year S.C.O.T.I.F (my coven) held four lectures on different subjects and also volunteered to cook the feast after the...

I have had an rather full on couple of weekends the first was really reconnecting for me. My dear friend Tamara with her husband Peter and along with my friends, Dawn, Karissa and Erin and helpers organized an event Shake Your Wicked Hoof.Talks of dancing and feasting happened and then we heard the location was going to be kept secret until closer to the date. Quite a few of us signed up on the dot knowing that it was going to be special and it really was.We stayed in a long Wooden Hall in Dwellingup with accommodation all around the...

(So thinking of running my Tarot courses there) We gathered in the main hall and spent time greeting friends and then gathered for the official welcoming and song. Tamara then lead us down the lantern lit winding path...
