Hi, Tarot Bumblebees,

Today, I’m touching on a HIGHLY requested topic – how to read Tarot cards intuitively. Want to ditch that Little White Companion Book and read the Tarot based on your psychic abilities and intuition? I’ll go through everything in this video and blog post that you will need to know to successfully read with your intuition. Let’s get started!

Why read intuitively?

There are many different ways to read the cards, and there are lots of different outcomes you can get with a reading. One very powerful way of reading the cards is using your intuition and building your psychic abilities. This means you’re going to be able to hear, feel, listen, acknowledge and act on your intuitive gift. I hear a lot of “How do I trust my intuition more?”. If you’re using the Tarot to read intuitively, you’re learning to trust it because you’re practicing that communication with your intuition. Another benefit is that you can literally pick up any deck and read with it pretty much straight away. It’s also a great way to access the individual personality of each deck and get a vibe. Instead of translating meanings from deck to deck, you get to go in completely new with each one.

I never forget the meanings of the cards and will always have that in the back of my mind but I also allow the deck to speak to me on an energetic level

Reading the Tarot intuitively also brings another level to your reading. Knowing the meaning and tarot system is one layer, and then if you add intuition, it’s powerful stuff. When you read the cards intuitively, it doesn’t always mean you’re divining or looking into the future or a “fortune teller.” You can use your intuitive gifts for any tarot reading.

How to read intuitively

1. Pick your Tarot deck

I search for “#indie decks” on Instagram, I check out Kickstarter and Etsy, and I also have a ton of friends who are deck creators. Make sure that you find a deck that has imagery that you connect really well with. If you don’t like the imagery or theme, you will not have a connection, and it will not work.

2. Create your own book of Tarot meanings

You now have your deck, and now you want to read for yourself intuitively. Start by creating a Tarot meaning book that’s dedicated to what you get in your readings and each of the card meanings. You’ll end up with a big, magical Tarot book that’s personally tailored to you. Take your time to go through each card and ask your intuition:

– What vibe am I getting from this card?
– What does this card mean for me?
– How would I feel as the symbol/person/animal in that card? Would I feel safe? Scared? Expansive? Try to get a vibration from that.
– What do the colors in the card tell me about the mood, feeling, element? Use everything you can to get as much information as you can out of the card.
– Are there any symbols with particular meaning to you?

A quick word of wisdom; always trust the first thing that comes to you. Say what you feel right off the bat – learn to say and acknowledge your hits. Practice your readings as much as possible but start slowly. Ready for yourself as much as possible.

Your intuition is not just about what you think, it’s also about what you feel and the response you’re getting with your different clairs. Are you really allowing yourself to open up and access that card’s wisdom? It takes practice, practice, practice. Keep an eye out for part 2, where I go over how to read Tarot intuitively for others.

Until Next week...
