Litha Tarot Spread

Litha Tarot Spread

Midsummer is when the literal sun and the Sun Gods of mythology are at their peak power.

Happy Midsummer to my lovely Tarot Tribe in the Northern Hemisphere and blessed Yule to those of you in the Southern Hemisphere!

I am making my way around the Wheel of the Year with my Tarot Spread creations. I love creating and using these. And, it has been amazing to see people tag me in their readings and share their experiences as well. It is really the best feeling.

Here is my offering for Litha. Enjoy!

The Yule Tarot Spread can be found HERE.

Midsummer is when the literal sun and the Sun Gods of mythology are at their peak power. It is the longest day of the year, and from this day forward the light will slowly fade as will the Sun God’s power. As a result, there are many beautiful practices around the world linked to this day.

Maybe it is the connection to Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream or that I am slightly faerie obsessed, but I love the faerie magic that is around at this time of year. As a result, I have incorporated that into the Litha Tarot Spread.

Litha falls on the 21st of June this year, and I have made the Litha Tarot Spread available a couple of days early so that you may be prepared ahead of time. Please feel free to share Litha with others who may be interested or consider incorporating it into your Sabbat rituals.

  1. Greetings,
Thank you for posting this spread. Using my trusty Angel tarot deck (Virtue & Valentine), my reading is remarkably spot-on. Here are the positions and cards I drew: 1. 7 of Air = procrastination, change. 2. 2 of Earth = doing too much, feeling stress, adapting. 3. Archangel Gabriel = review plans, unexpected life change, epiphanies, selflessness, awakening. 4. Ace of Water = falling in love, renewed romantic partnership, a new home. 5. Knight of Fire = time of essence, plan carefully, pay attention to detail, finances. I also let a card fall from the deck as I was shuffling and always include those strays as I believe they are meant to be read. 9 of Air = positive thinking easential, negative thinking in my way, expecting the worst, stress and related illness.

I am literally packing my home the next three weeks, to move south to be with my partner of 3.5 years. We have been long-distance and are closing the gap in late July. Yes, I am procrastinating, mostly out of having such a case of the jitters! (Normal, I’m sure.) And, I am having surgery 10 days before the mover comes to get my belongings.

    Helpful spread, very helpful reading!
    Thank you. 🙂

  2. I did this reading for a friend who’s been going through a difficult time. Things have been going downhill for her and doing this reading for her has given her some perspective and hope for the future. Awesome spread! I’ll definitely be doing readings for friends for future Lithas.
